CoinTracking does not have a discount code you type in at checkout. The saving works through our link instead. Register or log in through it, and a 10% reduction applies automatically on every paid plan, including Starter. Paying with Bitcoin adds a separate, officially confirmed 5%, for up to 15% off in total. We tested the link ourselves. This guide covers exactly how the discount shows up, what it covers, and what it does not.
CoinTracking Discount Code at a Glance
CoinTracking does not run a coupon field at checkout. The current discount lives entirely in our link. It is straightforward: click through, create an account or log in, and a 10% reduction is already active by the time you reach the payment page. Choosing to pay by Bitcoin there brings in a separate, officially confirmed 5%; CoinTracking has not published whether the two add up, so up to 15% off is the honest way to describe the combined ceiling. That covers every paid plan, Starter included, not just the higher tiers.
CoinTracking backs that up with a track record worth mentioning before the pricing details. The platform connects to 400+ exchanges and wallets and generates tax reports for 100+ countries, numbers straight from its own website. Founded in Germany in 2012, it has built out that exchange list and its tax-report coverage for well over a decade. CoinTracking also runs a Full-Service option. It suits anyone who would rather hand the whole tax report to a specialist team than build it themselves. We cover that further down, though the discount below applies to the self-service software, not that separate service.
If your portfolio spans traditional assets too, our Parqet review covers a comparable tracker for stocks, ETFs and real estate.
10% applies automatically at checkout, on every paid plan including Starter
Our Video Walkthrough
We recorded the whole process on screen: opening the link, creating the account, and watching the discount get confirmed before we reached the payment page. The steps below match what you see in the video, in case you would rather read through them first.
Why There Is No CoinTracking Discount Code to Type In
A lot of people search for a CoinTracking discount code expecting a box to type something into at checkout. CoinTracking does not run one. Instead, the saving is tied to the referral link itself: once your account is linked, the reduced price is already the one you see on the payment page.
That is a fair question to ask about any so-called discount code, and it is worth being transparent about. A lot of coupon-style content promises a code that does not exist, only to redirect through an ordinary link anyway. We would rather say plainly that CoinTracking does not offer a typed code than dress up a link as something it is not.
That claim is easy to make and worth testing rather than taking at face value. We tested it ourselves on 23 September 2026, and it holds up. Landing on CoinTracking's English-language homepage through our link showed a welcome banner right away. It confirmed that a discount from our link was already applied, before we had touched the checkout at all. No code, no coupon field, nothing to copy and paste.
What matters for you is simpler than the mechanism behind it. Open the link, sign up or log in through it. The price you see at checkout already reflects the reduction.
How to Claim the CoinTracking Discount
In practice, claiming the discount takes a few minutes, and the steps are the same whether you are opening a brand-new account or already have one.
Step 1: Open our CoinTracking link. Starting here, rather than going to cointracking.info directly, is what ties your account to the saving in the first place.
Step 2: Create an account, or log in if you already have one. Sign up with your email address. If you already have a CoinTracking account, log in through the same link rather than your usual bookmark.
Step 3: Check that the reduction is showing. When we tested this ourselves, the CoinTracking homepage displayed a welcome banner right after we landed through the link, confirming a lower price was already active before we picked a plan.
Step 4: Pick the plan that matches your transaction count. Starter, Pro, Expert and Unlimited all carry the same percentage off. Only the transaction limit and a few features change between them, such as auto-sync and the source of funds report. Starter covers up to 200 transactions, Pro scales to 3,500, and Expert and Unlimited go further still. The next section breaks down exactly what each tier includes.
Step 5: Pay, and choose Bitcoin if you want the extra 5%. PayPal, a recurring card payment, crypto through NOWPayments or Crypto.com, and Klarna all work at checkout. Paying the one-time amount in Bitcoin through NOWPayments or Crypto.com adds a separate 5%, according to CoinTracking's own pricing FAQ.
The 10% link discount applies the same way whichever plan you pick. Your payment method is what changes the total: card, PayPal or Klarna keeps it at 10%, Bitcoin brings the ceiling up to 15%. CoinTracking also backs every paid plan with a 14-day money-back guarantee, and cancellation is possible at any time, independent of that window.

CoinTracking Plans and Prices
These are the current annual list prices on CoinTracking's own pricing page, before any discount. The reduction is not baked into the number you see here. It shows up once you are logged in through our link and reach the actual checkout. The Free plan sits below Starter at €0 a year. A 7-day trial allows unlimited imports but stops short of generating an actual tax report. Every paid plan below, Starter included, generates a full tax report and carries the same reduction through our link. The transaction limits are cumulative since account opening, not a per-year allowance.
Starter (€39/yr) | Pro (€129/yr) | Expert (from €219/yr) | Unlimited (€769/yr) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Transactions, cumulative | 200 | 3,500 | 20,000+, scales up | Unlimited |
| Tax reports | Included | Included | Included | Included |
| Auto-sync (API) | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Source of funds report | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| AI Tax Saver | No | No | Yes, Germany only | Yes, Germany only |
| Priority support | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Discount | Up to 15% | Up to 15% | Up to 15% | Up to 15% |

CoinTracking highlights Expert as its default recommendation on the pricing page. It is the plan most people land on once their cumulative transaction count crosses a few thousand. Pro fits the middle ground for anyone trading regularly without hundreds of positions to track. Whichever tier fits, the percentage off stays identical. Only the euro amount you save changes, and it sits below what Expert or Unlimited saves, simply because Starter's list price is lower to begin with.
Same percentage on Starter, Pro, Expert and Unlimited, only the euro amount changes
The Separate Discount for Paying With Bitcoin
Separately from the discount through our link, CoinTracking's own pricing FAQ confirms a 5% reduction for anyone who pays for a plan as a one-time Bitcoin payment through NOWPayments or Crypto.com. It is not tied to our link at all. Any CoinTracking customer paying this way qualifies, referral or not.
The one caveat is that CoinTracking has not published how the two discounts interact at checkout. Whether they stack on top of each other or apply one after the other is not documented on CoinTracking's side. Our link is set to save up to 15% in total either way. That said, the exact euro amount is worth checking on the final payment screen rather than assuming it.
If you already hold Bitcoin and were going to pay for CoinTracking anyway, switching your payment method at checkout costs nothing extra to try. Any tax consequences of spending that Bitcoin depend on your own situation. That is a separate question this discount does not change.
What the Discount Does Not Cover
One thing to flag before you assume the saving covers everything CoinTracking sells: a couple of options sit outside the figure above.
CoinTracking also offers a Full-Service option. A specialist team reviews and cleans your transaction history and delivers a finished tax report, rather than you working through the self-service software yourself. It costs more than a subscription, and we have not confirmed a specific discount percentage for it through our EN link at this time. That does not change the overall value of the software discount above. It just means the two offers are not the same thing, and this article's numbers apply to the self-service plans only.
Longer commitment options, such as two-year or lifetime pricing, also appear on CoinTracking's checkout alongside the standard annual plans covered in the table above. We have only confirmed the reduction for the standard annual checkout described in this article. If you are looking at a longer commitment, confirm the discounted price on that specific payment screen before paying, rather than assuming the same percentage carries over automatically. The same goes for any renewal down the line. Check the price shown rather than assuming an earlier rate repeats exactly.
Parqet, the portfolio tracker we also use for stocks, ETFs and real estate, runs a comparable automatic discount on its own Plus tier. Our Parqet discount code guide covers the same activation process and its own set of limits.
Is CoinTracking Worth It?
For anyone trading across more than one exchange or wallet, the discount turns an already practical tool into a cheaper one. CoinTracking (cointracking.info) was founded in Germany in 2012. It is worth flagging that name alongside a similarly named but unrelated company, CoinTracker (cointracker.io), founded in the US in 2017. CoinTracking states the distinction directly on its own security page, since the two names are easy to mix up in a search.
We have used CoinTracking ourselves. The saving stands out most on the plans people actually pick, Pro and Expert, where active trading across exchanges adds up to real transaction counts. On Starter, the euro amount is smaller simply because the list price is lower, though the percentage is identical. Beyond that, a 14-day money-back guarantee and the option to cancel anytime take some of the pressure off deciding which plan to start with.
The discount handles the price. Getting the actual tax report right still comes down to importing your full transaction history correctly and checking it against your own country's rules. Our 5 CoinTracking mistakes beginners make walks through where that import step tends to go wrong. Anyone with a large or messy history can hand that part to CoinTracking's Full-Service team instead. Either way, starting through a link that already has the reduction applied costs nothing extra to set up.
